Aurrigo Driverless Cargo Pod Trial – DPTI – Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure South Australia
RDM is a manufacturer of autonomous vehicles and has supplied vehicles to a £20 million UK Autodrive project to conduct trials near London. RDM through its subsidiary, Aurrigo plans to assemble driverless pods in Adelaide for the Asia Pacific region as well as provide local access to RDM’s expertise in AV supply and fleets operations.
Autonomous buses to debut in Cambridge – SMMT
The UK’s first fully guided busway is being used to trial new self-driving transport pods, billed as the most advanced feasibility study yet, bringing fully autonomous vehicles a step closer to the UK. Using the pioneering Cambridgeshire Guided Busway, which runs between the city centre and nearby commuter towns, Coventry-based RDM Group is using its PodZero concept vehicle to complete feasibility studies.
