Aurrigo International and University of Ottawa sign Industry Innovation Collaboration Agreement
Aurrigo International plc (AIM: AURR, the “Company” or “Aurrigo”), a leading international provider of transport technology solutions, announces that it has signed an “Industry Innovation Collaboration Agreement” with the University of Ottawa, Canada.
The Agreement is the first Canadian academic partnership for Aurrigo and aims to develop a strong talent pipeline between the University of Ottawa and the Company. The partnership will connect Aurrigo with the University’s leading-edge researchers, students, and facilities, including its “Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre”, which is in the heart of Ottawa’s Kanata North Technology Park – Canada’s largest technology hub.
The partnership will encourage innovation through industry and academia co-creation projects, giving students valuable skills and real-world learning experiences. It will give Aurrigo access to the University’s expertise and research around the connectivity, physical and cyber security, decision-making and sustainability of autonomous vehicles and networks. It will be an ongoing venture between Aurrigo and the University of Ottawa.

About the Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre
The University of Ottawa launched the Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre (SCVIC) in October 2021 in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering. Located in uOttawa’s Kanata North campus, this exciting new facility focuses on research related to the connectivity, sustainability, and physical and cyber security of vehicles and networks. A cost-effective experimentation and testing centre plus collaboration-oriented space, the SCVIC serves as a catalyst and nucleus for connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) innovation and tech development.
