Prof. David Keene receives the prestigious MBE – Member of the Order of the British Empire

Aurrigo founder and CEO Prof. David Keene MBE has received his MBE to recognise Aurrigo’s work to decarbonise airports. When collecting the honour from Windsor Castle, Prince William told Keene he had “the weight of the world on his shoulders in making flying greener”.

What is the MBE?
It’s one of the five ranks within the Order of the British Empire, which was established by King George V in 1917 to honour contributions to the arts, sciences, charity, public service, and other achievements.

We’re back at Cenex 2025 showcasing our Auto-DollyTug alongside partners at Tees Valley Combined Authority, and Teesside International Airport as we gear up for the deployment there later in the year. After an overnight storm, the weather has turned out sunny, so come to the steering pan to see the vehicle!



We’re pleased to share that we have been shortlisted for the STAT Times International Air Cargo Excellence Award in the category “Innovative Logistics Solutions in Air Cargo of the Year.”
Reaching the shortlist is an important milestone and a strong endorsement of the work we are doing to move cargo in a safer, smarter and more sustainable way.
