About the role:

your task is to support and drive a safety-first culture alongside improving the quality of our documentation, processes and procedures to deliver best in class health and safety standards within our manufacturing and office areas.

The position is based at our Coventry offices although will cover multiple sites including our overseas locations.

As the HSE Officer, your responsibilities will include:

Manage HSE issues as they arise
Actively participate in Supplier Performance Review meetings
Organise and facilitate internal and external audits
Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
Undertake a regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
Ensure that EHS accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented
Management of EHS incident reporting and near miss register

Essential technical skills:

ISO 45001 standards and requirements
Experience of dealing with quality issues/non-conformances
ISO 9001 standards and requirements
Understanding of QMS
Handling of EHS investigations
Comprehensive knowledge of UK EHS law and regulations
Experienced and competent in Lean techniques such as 8D, RCCM, 5 Whys
Strong IT skills
Qualifications and experience:

NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent level 3 qualification
Experience of partnering with a Senior Management team and monitoring H&S change and improvement
Experience of working in a multi-site, fast moving environment
