What you will do
As an Autonomous Electrical System (AES) Engineer at Aurrigo:
• You will provide technical electrical support and upgrades on our prototype autonomous vehicles, allowing for their continued operation and assessment for upcoming trials
• You will periodically review the onboard vehicle electrical circuits and work with other team members to complete daily and weekly mechanical vehicle checks
• You will, with the assistance of other team members, help to expand and revise the existing electrical documentation as the prototype systems change
• You will become proficient at using our onboard vehicle software to manage and monitor the autonomous driving of prototype vehicles in an operator capacity
• You will engage with project partners and contribute to demonstrations of the autonomous technology to visiting guests and dignitaries
What we require from you
• Bachelors Degree / Masters Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent vocational qualification
• Ability to understand and diagnose vehicle communication systems such as CAN, Ethernet, Cellular, WiFi and GPS
• Prior hands-on experience with electrical circuitry and automotive components
What we prefer from you
• Experience working with electric vehicles
• Experience debugging vehicle networks
• A full driving license (optional, but beneficial)
